Visual is the new black.

Visualize what feels good:  If you can think it and see it you can create it.  Visualization is key to creating happiness.  Tell a happy story. Meditation. Write in a journal, on a vision board, have a dedicated vision journal. Your mind is powerful when it see's pictures.   Making a list of 300 things you want will bring you joy and 300 things.

Inspiration versus desperation:  Where are you coming from?  Is anger and depression coming from inspiration and clarity? No. Inspiration is easy and authentic.  Get grounded, centered and know what is best for you.  Inspiration creates an ease and people just show up to help. Breathe.

Allow time to work for you:  In putting all this out to the universe now let the universe do its job. Another way to say it is- let go! Step one ask, step two it’s a done deal and three allow it.

Trust in yourself, "To Thine own self be true.”   When you are clear about your intentions and what it is you really want then trust yourself to know what is best for you and the best way to get there.   Guidance from a structured platform like consistent meditation, looking at your vision board, sessions with your Life Coach;-) as well as the knowledge that you feel -trusting your mind's eye.     As a child it meant swimming in those northern Minnesota lakes.  Now there is a refresher for you, to jump in a spring fed lake in early July. Brings a smile to my face.  What brings a smile to your face?  Write it down, visualize and make it happen for YOU.

Choose to participate in life-visualization transforms so give my exercise a try...

In thinking about having something to look forward to is one factor that is healthy mentally and physically, as I have mentioned in previous blogs this month. I wanted to share a fun exercise to help visualize playing. Plan for yourself 15 minutes seeing yourself doing. Think about how you see this summer playing out? Write a descriptive story of how seeing yourself telling the details like on your first day back at school from summer vacation. From this excited child like place experience the fun, excitement of doing more than waiting around for seasons to change. Season change with or without your participation. Choose to participate and live life and have fun doing it!

How often is too often to celebrate?

July is a big celebration time. The fourth and summer is in full swing and nice and hot. Longer days and generally a more laid back time. Is there anything you would like to accomplish this summer? Think about it and make sure you include yourself on the vacation/celebration list.

Celebrate often and never look back-you can live many lifetimes over if you live each day doing a little something for yourself or others. No limits on Celebrations only the time left to fit them into our lives.

Planning can be a chore, but at the same time it gives us something to look forward to...

This July I will be celebrating my 40 year high school class reunion. Yikes!
Hopefully, we will still know each other, this is when you appreciate name tags. Maybe I should include some extra tags for network in my luggage. Ha!!

Do you have something to look forward to this summer? Make sure you include you on this years vacation time, reunion time or people time. Stay in the moment, and plan for days, weeks and months in advance. It' healthy for you.

Refreshing summer is upon us, enjoy and share!

The month of June is a re nourishing time of year for me.  It's when we get to take vacation and kick back a little bit,  slow down the pace and soak up goodness.  The beach has been magnificent with dolphins and Manta Rays swimming by so you can reach out and touch them.  What a wonder!

Puppy love- retriever and shitzu- differences attract

My puppy dog is a special little spirit. When I look at him he just makes me smile. He is so dang cute and has great energy. He loves to play with a big retriever named Bucky, and he is a ten pound shitzu named Jett. They are like mutt and Jeff.

How different they are in stature, color, and energy.  If you find you are attracted to the energy of another, look to see the kindness you can share.   Be open to friendship and embrace the differences that add to who you are yet to become.

New beginnings-there is never a bad time to start over.

June is also graduations and weddings which means endings and new beginnings.It’s also birthdays and class reunions. Some celebration is in order and that is what I'm up to this summer. Celebration. The 4th of July is around the corner so remember to celebrate freedom.

Just how do celebrate? Do you celebrate important milestones like retirement for instance. My best friend just retired after 36 years of being a teacher. Lots of celebration and reflection. Retired now what?

New beginnings has a nice ring to it, I think. You can have a new start at any time. And a new start is a reason to celebrate! Or just some days you deserve to just have a start over. So take it! New beginnings can be small steps taken one at a time, but if you are up for it take a hop, then step and throw in a skip for good measure.

June refresing, but busy WNOCC fund raiser and making friends in process!.

Lots of networking and making friends along the way this month.  The WNOCC ladies had a fund raiser for scholarship award.  Each year a recipient from Hodges College gets an opportunity to be the lucky winner. This gave me exposure to many people and over 50 names of people that I actually spoke with. 

The event was uplifting and not just cards in a bowl.  So if you want to increase your clients and network, try a larger venue. Think of 50 people all know at least one person they could refer to you that's 50 more leads.  Good leverage.

A warm mention to the networking women in the health care industry I met. 
Lately it has been a pattern in my networking to meet and great them.    Lots and lots of them.  From Funeral owners to Hospice to in home health.  Like at the blood mobile waiting for anyone able to give some precious life force. Makes me appreciate my blood and that I have enough of it and that's it healthy.  All these great caregivers deserve a round of well wishes and lots of love, hugs and a big pat on the back for jobs well done.  We all need you. Thank you.

Small self -care group forming in May- reading writing and encouragement.

I’m starting two new focus groups beginning the first Wednesday of May...only five people per group so more intimate and personal. Defining one's space makes for progress and happiness, why?

Wow I am loving my new office space.  It is good to dedicate and define ones space.  This is where I go to focus on what I do best, coaching.  Why define your space?   With focused thought comes the energy to fulfill the dream and bring it to fruition.  Therefore, living life on purpose.

Defining space includes time so not just the physical space.  "Slow down you move to fast," is a great line in an old song, but couldn't be any more on target with whats missing in many lives today's. Make space in mind and your office. Carve out a small space to think, ponder and see what happens.

Love is honoring those we love.

I’m planning a birthday party for my special honey.  It feels good to be planning something fun for someone I love so much.  It brings me joy while I’m doing it. The invitations look great, the location on the beach with music, food and drink we will celebrate this milestone. Take time to honor those you love.

Love.  I keep hearing about love and how we must allow the love to heal what we have been unable to heal.  Our heart is love and we need to take special care of our heart. Using our heart for love, surrounding our heart with love, emanating love and receiving love.  Love.

Book club update "Ask and It is Given" a fireheart moment

The “Ask and It is Given” book club group is going very well.  We have a steady 4 to six people who have more awareness of how their emotions are used as a guidance system.  If you know how you feel, then you are in a place of knowing how to drive your life.  You can redirect your focus at any time anywhere and be in a different feeling place. Powerful!
Meditation has been a great practice for the “Ask and It is Given Group.” Last week we held our attention for 68 seconds on visualizing our planet in a red and pink glow.  Like Katy Perry’s Fireheart.  Radiating love.

Positive energy, feeling good and living life to the fullest.

What a whirlwind time it is…loving life and living it to the fullest.  This does require good self- care and a focus on what is good for me.  More than ever while I'm out engaging in life it really does make things more fluid when I feel good.
When I feel good, I allow good, and when I allow good, it feels good.  One thing hooks on to another and pretty soon there is an abundance of goodness all around me.  Let your whirlwinds begin.

To give more means you need more self-care and simply listening can fill you up

Season is here in southwest Florida.  For us this means being busier and having more demands for our time.  I love that people are here, the weather is divine and life is filled with activity, people, places and things to show up for.  Self -care comes to mind.  Getting the rest we need, eat healthy, walk and show up for ourselves.  This is key for me to be able to give when I want and need.  Listening to myself and doing what is good for me will ultimately be good for everyone.  My motto.  Now I need to listen and take the time to fill up.

Currency of good times, make many rich, and how wealthy are you?

What is fun for you?   I love to have fun and am fun and funny.  I love to laugh out loud.  My friend tells me laughter is currency.  Think about it, when is the last time you really had a good time?  Plan for fun just like planning anything else we do in life.  Doctors appointments for instance.  Now that is not fun.  Being done with the doctor is.  Celebrate that victory.

Life achievements feel good, are attainable and on the 'must do' list of life...

Achievement means different things to different people.  What does this mean to you?  To me achievement should feel good along the way, is attainable in my mind and based on something I have been trying to do or a place to get to.   When I arrive it should feel good, too. The joy is in the journey not the destination.  The attainment of living in the moment is an achievement. Life achievements feel good, are attainable and on the must do list of life's journey.

The “Ask and it is Given” Book Club is under way.  Fabulous teachings and always good to hear the messages it provides.  The Law of Attraction states that like unto itself is drawn.  What we focus on whether we want it or not will come to us, it is law.  So be aware of what you are giving your attention to.  Is it what you want?  Change the thought and change your point of attraction.

Visualize what it is that you want and really think about it in your mind.  Holding that thought for 17 seconds.  Do it again, and again, until you feel it in every fiber.  When you are aligned with your thought through how you feel, then energetically, it has to happen.  It is the Law of Attraction in action.  You are living life on purpose and with a purpose.

Can life get any better? Two things that insure success are appreciation and...

Use your mind to improve your standing.  Happiness coaching is focusing on the things that bring you joy.  Do you create happy thoughts in your mind?  Or do you think negative thoughts that bring you down?  Joy filled thoughts are much better than morbid thoughts for example.  Your mind is the ultimate tool for you to use to generate things you desire, such as happiness, money career, etc. Let your mind appreciate all that matters to you-and stay focused on the positive.

Exercise. Now that I've LOST your attention, lets decuss how the mind follows body.

How many of you exercise on a daily basis or on a regular basis?  I find that when I move my body my mind follows suit.  Moving the muscle groups, taking a walk or anything physical gets those good endorphins moving to our sleepy brains.  I know when I exercise I feel better.  For me that’s the biggest motivator, knowing I will feel better all day and be more productive as well.  What does it for you?  To me it all about how I feel and how I look is a by-product of the actions I take.

Low tech walking or high tech kinetics with actions games-your pick- So start self care by moving the body and the mind will follow. Really really it does, try it and see what happens, you will feel good!
